It is an offence for any person under the age of 18 years to purchase a knife/bladed item or attempt to purchase a knife/bladed item in-store or online in the UK.

As a responsible online retailer, Anglesey Fine Foods Ltd performs an age verification check on the purchaser when an attempt to buy a knife/bladed item is made. This check is solely to verify that the purchaser is over 18 years of age.

The age verification check is made in person via a video call, we may ask for documentary proof in order to complete the transaction. Documentary proof can either be a UK driver's licence or an international passport (including UK passports).

During the video call, please feel free to ask any questions regarding your purchase.

Unfortunately, we cannot use EU driver's licences or national ID cards to complete the age verification check.
