Suitable for all kitchens, the MINERAL B frying pan is compatible with all heat sources, including induction. As steel is an excellent heat conductor, it distributes heat evenly throughout the pan, ensuring perfect cooking. Its securely riveted handle, combined with the French-style curve, provides a balanced and safe grip.
These heavy carbon steel pans are very durable, and only improve with time thanks to a natural easy-release layer of 'seasoning' that develops over time as you cook in the pan. You'll know how well-seasoned this pan is based on the colour: It will go from grey to black. When manufactured, it is treated with organic beeswax, which protects the pan from oxidation in transit — this needs to be removed by you prior to use, as it kickstarts the seasoning process.
This pan must be seasoned before use. Once seasoned, it will form a layer that needs to be regularly maintained.
